<image:title>Home - Paperboy - I save the best for last! Two words: Cinnamon Toast.</image:title>
<image:caption>This is an absolute must order in my opinion! I ordered this with a side of breakfast potatoes for a sweet + savory start to the day. We all agreed that this toast specifically was one of the best bites of food any of us had ever had. It was perfectly balanced with the crunch of the toast, sweetness of the cinnamon, tanginess of the mascarpone, and then this delicious topping of walnut streusel. Holy cow. Just get there and order it - you’ll thank me later!</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Paperboy - Justin ordered the fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. Which…come on.</image:title>
<image:caption>As southerners, we take our friend chicken very seriously. We also take our biscuits and gravy VERY seriously. Paperboy’s version definitely didn’t disappoint. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It was a great combination with the gravy and flaky biscuit.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Paperboy - My dad is always a sucker for a classic bacon, egg, and cheese. He definitely passed that down to me, too.</image:title>
<image:caption>The bun was fresh, the potatoes were crispy and well-seasoned. Everything about this classic BEC was amazing. As simple as it is, I always appreciate when restaurants include a small side of greens for heavier savory dishes. I didn’t always know the purpose - but as I got older, I found myself reaching for something fresh and green in between bites of potatoes and sandwich. Just a nice little side note.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Paperboy - We all ordered something different and tried a bite of everything!</image:title>
<image:caption>My sister ordered this insane French Toast that had mascarpone and ganache. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. I swear her eyes got 3x bigger when they put this down in front of her.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - Welcome to Eats in ATX! I’m Mara, your guide to all things food in Austin, Texas.</image:title>
<image:caption>I have always been a foodie - early on in life, I was never afraid to try new things and push myself out of my comfort zone when it came to food. I still remember the first time I had escargot and thinking I was really cool. As I got older and went to college, I started to love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. There were a lot of weird things I cooked back then, but it helped me learn and become confident in trying new styles, techniques, and again…get out of that comfort zone! My dad, who is my inspiration in all things, has always been a fantastic cook. He would make these elaborate spreads for my friends growing up, which they all loved and still talk about. He used food as one of the many ways to show us love. I also love food because it reminds me of my Grandma, and how her food is a reflection of her journey in life. Her cooking rings true to her Appalachian roots and I often catch myself dreaming about her biscuits & gravy or fried green tomatoes.</image:caption>
